Build to Suit Corporate Campus

This project’s goal was to develop a campus that truly embodies the values that form the core of our client’s growing company. On the most basic level, it required a spatial quality that makes employees love coming to work every day. In essence, a quality achieved not only through amenities and workspace functionality, but through daylight, fresh air, and the ability to recharge and reconnect with nature.  In terms of regional presence, the design of this project finds its richness in how it mediates the tension between the dense urban/industrial context and the natural estuarine environment in a way that elevates its presence.

Setting and achieving ambitious sustainability goals is vital to all our work, but especially in establishing our clients as industry leaders. By executing a high-performance and ecologically sensitive project within an efficient budget, our design leads by example by taking real action around environmental responsibility. Highlights from the sustainability functions of this project include green roofs with pollinator gardens, rainwater capture, solar control, climate-responsive cooling, and an optimized envelope to reduce heating demands. This smart campus was designed with LEED Platinum, Net Zero Energy, and FitWel Certification in mind
