Jennifer Devlin-Herbert, FAIA, LEED® AP, BD+C has found her passion in the careful balance of client, user and community input, and dedication to design that elevates the experience of place. Since she joined EHDD in 1994, Jennifer has successfully combined a strong creative design approach with practical solutions to fit her clients’ needs.
Jennifer’s hands-on project involvement and commitment to a sustainable environment through elegant high-performance buildings has been key to the success of many of the firm’s projects. Her work ranges from academic facilities to museums, libraries and schools. She is an expert planner and designer with extensive experience on a number of significant projects, including the City College of San Francisco Chinatown/North Beach Campus in San Francisco, and the award-winning San Mateo Public Library, a LEED® Gold, state-of-the-art landmark facility.
Jennifer believes that great design responds to the site as well as her client’s values. Her interest is in creating a vibrant, engaging and inspiring space that allows people to embrace and interact with a building, a neighborhood street, or a city.
